Through generous support from one family, currently FIC is operating at 5A Robertson Road, Favona on a rental property for the last 5 years.

We are currently having 5 times prayers, Jummah & Taraweeh prayers, and Qur’an & hifz classes.  Now due to growing number of population in Favona area, it is difficult to cater for the community and parking facilities for all.

The FIC will, inshaallah, soon move to its new location while the effort to pay it off will continue.

Due to the increasing population in Favona/Mangere Areas, the Vision is to have an Islamic Hub through the Mission – of Dawah, Ibadah, Knowledge and Khidmah to both Muslims and wider community. Therefore the future plan is to build a MASJID and/or an Islamic Centre subject to council consent and approval. 

The proposed plan is to build a structure to house an Islamic hub to provide:

  • Prayer Hall, Classrooms for Education
  • Area and Kitchen facilities.
  • Dawah facilities for general population.
  • Parking spaces
